Croatia - Australia 2:2

It wasn't meant to be. Croatia fought hard in this game, had lead twice, was twelve minutes away from advancing to the second round, but in the end was not strong enough to prevail over plucky Aussies.

I was more equanimous about this game than I was about the previous one. Decided that there is no use getting my nerves strained too much over soccer.

This was Australia's first advancement to the field of 16 teams in the World Cup finals. Godspeed, mates.
